“Creativity is Home” by Jasmin Sehra (short film for #MogulMowgli microsite)

My family and upbringing have been a huge influence on me as a creative, so when I got asked to share my creative story as part of @rizahmed’s Mogul Mowgli microsite experience, it was only right to create something that paid homage to my family.

I created this short film featuring some home videos, custom typography and illustration animation and a few things that have truly inspired me; letting you all into what growing up in a house of musicality and creativity was like. It was such a joy putting this together, and reminiscing about old times always fills my heart with the most wholesome feeling.

Honestly super blessed to have grown up with the best of both worlds, and to have parents who encouraged creativity and laid the foundation to allow me to strive doing what I love as a Sikh Punjabi woman in the creative industry
